From a greeting to your own message
Choose a starting card, then change the words, colours, movement, lettering or layout. Two-line greeting splits the main message between words; a single word stays on one line. Portrait changes the actual export dimensions. Previews begin still. Pause holds the current frame; the slider and Previous/Next buttons let you inspect all 24 source frames. Changing a setting resets the preview and clears previous exports.
What the downloaded file contains
Create GIF file produces 24 frames with a 100-millisecond delay and an instruction to loop: a designed cycle of 2.4 seconds, using up to 64 colours per frame. Create still PNG saves the first frame with no animation. Both use an opaque background and contain no audio, watermark or imported image. Actual GIF playback depends on the receiving app.
Choose a size for the destination
Preview at 240 or 480 CSS pixels to judge text size. Choose Compare GIF and PNG sizes to create three real versions in the current card shape. Each download shows exact bytes and KiB, plus its percentage difference from the large GIF. Export size and preview scale are independent. PNG always saves frame one, even if the preview is paused elsewhere. Results reflect your device and message, not a promised compression ratio.
Keep a readable copy of the message
A GIF should not be the only place a recipient can find essential information. Put the meaning in the surrounding message too. This tool does not support uploading photographs, cutting videos or automatic translation. Downloaded GIFs can animate automatically in other apps, even though previews here begin still.
